Support the Jefferson County Library Foundation this weekend by stopping at their Whale of a Used Book Sale. The event began Thursday evening, May 29th, and will be open through Sunday, June 1, at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden.

This event, the first of the foundation’s two yearly book sales, lives up to its name, offering an impressive 90,000-plus gently used items for sale, including hardback and paperback books, CDs, DVDs, games, puzzles, collectible editions, and graphic novels.

Admission to the sale starts at $5 per person, with free tickets available to ages 18 and under. Proceeds from the sale go to support literacy initiatives at Jefferson County libraries.
