Looking for a fun way to give back with the family? The Giving Machines are back in Denver this year!
Giving Machine was born in 2017 in response to the question: “What if giving to someone in need was as easy as buying a snack from a vending machine?” The purpose is to give anyone, no matter age or means, the chance to actively participate in a giving experience.
Each year, Giving Machine Denver benefits five local and two global nonprofit organizations. This year’s local nonprofit partners are the African Community Center of Denver, the Colorado National Guard Foundation, Project C.U.R.E., The Action Center, and WeeCycle. Their global nonprofit partners are CARE and Splash.
Just select an item, swipe a debit or credit card and watch a card representing your gift “drop” as a donation to your selected charity.
Gifts for purchase from the giving vending machines include things such as a bus pass, toilet paper, baby care basics, school supplies, family dinner, baby formula, warm comforter, diapers, winter coat, wheelchair, family essentials, a bicycle, and so much more.
The Giving Machine Denver is open 24/7 from Thanksgiving through the New Year located at Cherry Creek North Holiday Market
2nd Avenue and Fillmore Plaza, Denver 80206.
