Mark your calendars: the beloved Tennyson Street Fair is back July 18–19, and this year it’s bigger and better than ever. Held annually in Denver’s Berkeley neighborhood, the Tennyson Street Fair is a free, open-air celebration of local makers, music, food, and community. Now a full two-day celebration, the third annual event promises food, fun, and festivities for all.
For the first time, the festival kicks off on Friday night, July 18, with a brand-new feature: the Berkeley Beer Fest from 5–8 p.m., showcasing a lineup of 15 craft breweries with strong Denver roots. Guests can sip through the scene with a $20 punchcard ($25 day-of), sampling beers from local favorites including Cerebral, Crooked Stave, Westbound & Down, and more.
Friday’s festivities also include an artisan market, live music by local talents Emelise and Cottonwood Drifters, and the debut of an exclusive beer collaboration: the Tennyson St. Belgian Wit, brewed jointly by Call to Arms Brewing Co. and The Empourium Brewing Co. Another exciting newcomer, Berkeley Alley Beer, will also be pouring alongside a fresh collab with Monolith Brewing.
The main event continues Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and it’s set to feature 200 vendors—double last year’s count. Local artisans will line Tennyson Street from West 39th to West 43rd Avenues, selling everything from handmade jewelry and rugs to candles, skincare, art, spices, and more.
Attendees can start the day with some zen: Ohana Yoga + Barre will host a free outdoor group yoga session from 11 a.m. to noon (BYOMat!). Live music will fill the street throughout the day with performances from Teresa Storch Band, Moon Honey, Velvet Dream, and Boot Gun, who will close out the night from 6:30–8 p.m. A delicious lineup of food trucks and pop-up eateries will join Tennyson’s neighborhood staples like Hops & Pie, Bakery Four, Atomic Cowboy, and Lucy’s Burger Bar to keep the crowd fueled all weekend long.
The Tennyson Street Fair is free to attend, with the Berkeley Beer Fest as the only ticketed component. In 2024, the festival saw attendance grow to 28,000 people, nearly doubling from its inaugural year.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Tennyson Berkeley Business Association (TBBA), helping support the local business community that gives the street its distinctive charm.
