St. Patrick’s Day in Colorado means major celebrations – from one of the largest west of the Mississippi to the world’s shortest, there’s endless fun to enjoy for the whole family.
Boulder
The World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 14 features a fun, block-long parade on 16th Street, followed by a pub crawl.
Don’t miss the Boulder Social 3rd annual St. Patrick’s Puppy Parade & Costume Contest on March 14 at 1pm. Located at Boulder Social (1600 38th Street), the party features a costume contest, party pics, adoptable pups, vendor booths, and a puppy menu.
The St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Bar Crawl is one of the largest pub crawls in Boulder. Starting at 4pm on March 14, don your greenest gear and celebrate with festive shots, lucky cocktails, and lively dancing.
Lucky Leprechaun 5K on March 15 is a fun run taking place at Twisted Pine Brewing Company. Jam to Irish band Avourneen, be entertained by the McTeggart Irish Dancers, and eat a tasty Irish breakfast burrito post-race along with a choice of Twisted Pine Brewing Company beer.
Colorado Springs
The Colorado Springs St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 14 features a 12pm parade in downtown preceded by a 10am Grand Marshal Reception.
Join for the 42nd annual 5K for St. Patrick’s Day at 10am on March 14, the flattest 5K in Colorado Springs! Wear your kilts and your super green tech shirts, and don’t forget to bring the shamrocks and your sneakers. Or try the Leprechaun Fun Run for your little leprechaun to join in the race down Tejon Street.

Denver
Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 14 is headlined as one of the largest celebrations west of the Mississippi. Starts at 9:30 am at 19th and Wynkoop. The theme this year is Stars, Stripes and Shamrocks.
The 38th annual Runnin’ of the Green is a popular 7k run/walk at Washington Park on March 8. The classic Irish Jog features a lucky 7K, a 2 mile leprechaun leap, and an Irish festival.
Shamrock the Block is a celebration on Denver’s Diary Block March 15 featuring Celtic inspired live music from 10am-2pm, St. Patrick’s Day glitter tattoos, pop-up bars serving Irish coffees, green wine and more – and not to mention free swag!

Littleton

Families can enjoy face painting for the kids too! On South Sycamore Street, there will be a lively street party daily with a big tent, grand stage, and live shows.
The annual crawfish boil is happening at ViewHouse Littleton from 2-8pm on March 15, a perfect food adventure. Also featuring all-day green bear, bead giveaways, and a delicious Irish-inspired menu all weekend long.
