- Fairy Tale Ball is a magical experience for little princes and princesses. Kids are swept away to a world where fairy tales come to life.

DCL Brew Tour
Is there a better way to spend the summer? Our annual tour of Douglas County breweries and coffee shops includes exciting DCL-hosted events and prizes along the way. You can sign up now for free! Fête des Fables Gala
Our annual gala benefits the Douglas County Libraries Foundation, which supports vital library programs and services. This year we’re celebrating the gala’s 10th anniversary in the theme of Beauty and the Beast at the historic Highlands Ranch Mansion. Forest of Stories
Perfect for kid-friendly entertainment and tree-peeping opportunities during the holidays and winter break! Visit all of our libraries to experience a sparkling display of more than 175 book-themed, decorated trees—there’s something unique at every location. The trees are decked in stories ranging from favorite children’s tales, to classic literature, to crime thrillers, mysteries and more. It’s all part of our popular Booked for the Holidays event offerings featuring festive holiday entertainment options.
