Catch a horse show, witness a stock dog competition, scroll through the Coors Western Art gallery, cheer on the kids in the Stadium Arena Mutton Bustin’, and shop ’til you drop at the hundreds of western vendors with unique gifts and delicious foods.
The National Western Stock Show kicked off Thursday with their kick-off parade through downtown Denver. The Stock Show will run until January 25 and is packed with events sure to please everyone. With a mission to inspire, educate, and convene youth and families, it’s sure to be the big family hit (with both kids and parents).
The show, established in 1906, is the premier livestock, rodeo, and horse show in the nation. It aims to serve agricultural producers and consumers throughout the world. As a nonprofit, the organization provides education in agriculture and is one of Colorado’s preeminent tourist destinations with the country’s largest horse shows and Colorado’s largest western trade show.
Head to the National Western Stock Show website to check out information on tickets and find the full schedule.
