Goldens in Golden is returning for another paw-sitively fun event this Saturday in Golden! Every year, the town of Golden hosts thousands of visitors and their furry friends for a time of connection and celebration. Festivities will be held in Downtown Golden along Washington Avenue, which will be closed to traffic from 10:30am–1:30pm.
Visitors will enjoy meeting new pups, connecting with other dog owners, and fun treats from vendors. There will be plenty of pet-friendly booths and merchandise to shop from. And don’t miss out on a picture-perfect moment: Official group photos are scheduled for 11:30am, noon, and 12:30pm under Golden’s Welcome Arch, located at Washington Avenue and 12th Street. Visitors are requested to join for only one photo session to ensure everyone has a chance to participate.
The first Goldens in Golden was put on in 2019 by Visit Golden in order to attract more visitors to the town during a slow tourist season. Since then, Goldens in Golden has grown into a major event that Golden Retriever lovers look forward to every year. While the event is a celebration of Golden Retrievers, any leashed, trained, and friendly dogs are welcome to join in the fun.
