Becoming a mom is one of the most wonderful yet challenging times in your life. You’re recovering from labor and delivery, all while being 100% immersed in caring for a newborn. Rather than feeling a pressure to bounce back, I wish more women dedicated the time to heal and regain muscular function instead of diving back into exercise too early.

Dr. Jessie Flammer is a physical therapist who is passionate about treating women in the postpartum phase. She lives in Golden with her husband, two-year-old son, and is currently expecting.
