Sunday, February 15

  • Denver Book Swap Society – Denver Milk Market, 3 p.m. Denver Book Swap Society is hosting a book swap event for people to pass along their books in exchange for new (to them) books to take home.
  • Lunar New Year on Havana Street – 2430 S. Havana St., Aurora, Noon-6 p.m. The Lunar New Year on Havana Street Festival returns for its third year. This annual celebration has grown into one of Aurora’s most exciting annual events, bringing thousands of guests together for a full day of food, music, and community. This year, expect even more unforgettable performances, diverse vendors, and incredible flavors from around the world.
  • LuBird’s Light Playground – Stanley Marketplace, Aurora. The first inclusive playground in Denver and Aurora, the playground includes state-of-the-art handicapped accessible swings, spinners and slides, musical sensory play equipment, smooth barrier-free surfacing and more—all with a magical vibrant design.

Monday, February 16

  • Denver Writes Creative Writing Club – BookGive Service Station, 4890 Lowell Blvd., 4:30-6:30 p.m. Creative Writing Club is a space for writers ages 10 and up to work on writing projects, collaborate with other writers, share and receive feedback from other participants, and join in on mini writing games and workshops. For ages 10 – 16.

Tuesday, February 17

  • A Tavola Winter Market – Denver Design District, 575 S Broadway, 4-7 p.m. Step inside and discover nearly 50 passionate vendors—growers, makers, and culinary artisans—each bringing their craft to the table. More than just a market, it’s a seasonal celebration of connection, creativity, and the simple joy of good food shared among friends and neighbors.

Wednesday, February 18

  • Family Storytime – Washington Park Rec Center, 10 a.m. Stories, songs, rhymes, and fun for kids ages 0-5 and their grown ups at the Washington Park Recreation Center.
  • Move to the Music – Central Children’s Library, 3:30 p.m. Join for a high-energy, imagination-filled experience that encourages kids to express themselves while building coordination, listening skills, and having fun! Geared toward ages 3-8, but siblings, friends, and caregivers of all ages are welcome to join the fun.

Thursday, February 19

  • Teens Explore: International Snack Sampling Club – Central Teen Library, 4 p.m. Learn about a new country each month by pairing a snack tasting with trivia. In February, they celebrate Lunar New Year while enjoying South Korean treats! Ideal for ages 13-19.

Saturday, February 21

  • Far East Center Lunar New Year Celebration – 333 S Federal Blvd, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Experience the magic of Lunar New Year with Lion & Dragon dances, captivating cultural performances, and a feast of delicious offerings from amazing restaurants and supporting pop-up vendors.
    Kids Cultural Fashion Show: Encourage your kids to dress in traditional attire and join the cultural fashion show—celebrating heritage in style!
