Timbuk Toys is a local, independent, Specialty Toy retailer based in Denver, Colorado. The company was founded in 1993 and offers toys that help kids “Learn through Play!” Our products, services and stores connect our customers to the joy of play, imagination, and discovery. In what we sell and how we do it, FUN is at the heart of our business!
We are proud to offer toys for all ages and interests. From babies to big kids, we have toys that support learning in all developmental stages of childhood. We offer every type of toy including art, games, dress-up, pretend, science kits, vehicles, stuffed animals, and more. For kids as well as for their adults, we make shopping an exciting adventure!
Our three stores are situated in neighborhood shopping centers, giving us the opportunity to be involved in our communities. We support local schools through donations and other programs, and we partner with charities including WeeCycle and Wellpower. To us, being part of the community means giving back. We’ve been building these relationships for 30 years, and that is a big part of the fun of being a local business.
Timbuk Toys includes two stores in Denver and one in Littleton. We also offer shopping through our website at www.TimbukToys.com. All our locations are connected to each other and operate under the same management. Sallie Kashiwa is the founder and owner, and she is still active in running the company. We provide employment for over 35 people, ranging from high school students to senior citizens and representing a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.
