What is the school’s mission and philosophy? Our inclusive, globally-minded community develops highly-motivated and academically successful bilingual learners who are inter-culturally adept and make positive contributions in a complex world.
How does the school differentiate itself from other private schools in the area? We exist to make the world a more compassionate and curious place, one student at a time.
When you combine our multilingual, multicultural education, a forward-thinking International Baccalaureate curriculum, and a diverse, globally-minded community, the outcome is extraordinary.
What are the core values that guide the school community? Diversity, Integrity, Compassion, Responsibility, Perseverance.
What extracurricular activities and clubs are available? Track and Field, Cross Country, Basketball, Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Crochet, Tennis, Yoga, Gymnastics, Crafts, Soccer, Debate, Photography, Drama, Percussion Ensemble, LEGO Club, Robotics, Pickleball, Karate, and Playdough.
How does the school foster a sense of community among students? One truly special ISDenver way is through Dragon Houses. Students are sorted into one of four Dragon Houses and immediately help foster a strong sense of belonging plus an opportunity for a lot of fun!
How can parents get involved in the school community? The ISDenver Dragon Association, our version of a PTO, brings the school community closer together through family events, school programs, and social gatherings. Dragon Buddies connects “veteran” ISDenver families with new families, to help enrich our global community and make everyone feel welcome. Room Parents help classroom families to connect and get more involved at school and in the classroom.
