What is the camp’s mission and philosophy?

The mission of First Tee – Colorado Rocky Mountains is to educate and inspire youth academically, socially, and physically through the game of golf.

What safety measures are in place?

First Tee is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming environment. Part of this commitment is making sure everyone has completed a thorough background check and Safe Sport training program.

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?

We keep the ratio as good as possible for the best experience. Typically it is somewhere around 4:1 but can be as low as 2:1 depending on the class.

How are staff members screened and trained?

Part of this commitment is making sure everyone has completed a thorough background check and Safe Sport training program. We also have mandatory weekly curriculum trainings for staff.

Is there a daily schedule, and can you provide an example?

It varies by location and day. Typically we have multiple classes at each location broken up by age group.

Are there opportunities for free play or downtime?

Our Junior Courses at the City of Denver Golf Courses are free to use anytime classes aren’t in session.

How does the camp handle health issues and allergies?

It is very situation dependent but our staff is trained on how to handle all of these different issues

Are there opportunities for parents to visit or participate in camp activities?

Parents are always welcome to come and watch classes as they are happening. We also offer Parent/Jr. Classes at select locations and times.
