What is your educational philosophy?
With a Waldorf Education, we prepare children for whole lives – to become confident individuals, able to realize their full potential, free and inspired to make a difference in the world.
What are the qualifications and experience levels of your teachers and staff?
Teachers have Waldorf Teacher training and typically education degrees. Our teachers have expertise in early childhood education and passion for developmentally-based methods. Teacher’s bios and PDIS are all online!
How do you communicate with parents about their child’s progress and daily experiences?
Teachers are super available and excited to bridge the home-school connection and create strong (low-tech) class communities. Regular in-person meetings, phone, email, phone, as well as picture updates.
What is your approach to handling challenging behaviors or conflicts among children?
Collaboration, NOT competition, is important here. Each child (head, heart & hands), within each class community, lives our values making things right with 21 century skills, self regulation, and healthy communication.
What health and safety measures do you have in place, and how do you respond to emergencies?
We follow all rules & regs and safety protocols, allowing children’s experience to be carefree on this hidden gem of a large day care center tucked away on 38 acres.
