How does the school differentiate itself from other charter schools in the area? With a developmentally based Waldorf curriculum including: multidisciplinary project-based experiential learning, festivals, community service, cyber civics & a low-tech environment, instrumental music, 3D handwork & woodworking, and Spanish language programs

Are there advanced placement, honors programs, or dual enrollment classes available? In middle school, we offer tracked math classes. In all classes K-8, teachers differentiate to meet the needs of students’ wide ranges of abilities within all subject strands.
What extracurricular activities and clubs are available? With daily after school care until 5:30pm, and school-day off camps, we offer extended recess, play, activities, homework support, Circus and Cross-country running clubs.
How does the school foster a sense of community among students? Collaboration, NOT competition, is important here. Each whole child (head, heart and hands), within each class community, lives our values with 21st century skills, self regulation and healthy communication.
How can parents get involved in the school community? Many hands make light work…and more affordable tuition! Each year, the volunteering, parent-teacher meetings, festivals and community work contribute to keep this vibrant school and Sensible Tuition model alive.
What percentage of graduates go on to college? After graduating from 8th grade, students are ready to leap into the “bigger world”. They know themselves and hence adapt and integrate well into high school and then college environments.
