What is the school’s mission and philosophy? Our Mission: Boulder Country Day School provides an exceptional educational experience that broadens students’ understanding of the ever-changing world around them, preparing them to be adaptable, empathetic, and engaged global citizens.

How does the school differentiate itself from other private schools in the area? Through small class sizes and innovative engagement in a supportive environment, students at BCD learn to explore their strengths and apply them to the world. Guided by our values, we believe the empowered minds that graduate from BCD will be the ones to ignite global change.
What are the core values that guide the school community? Take care of ourselves and others, explore many paths, meet the challenge, create inclusion and belonging, and be part of something bigger.
What extracurricular activities and clubs are available? Daily after-care and enrichment classes. Competitive athletic teams include: Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Co-Ed Cross Country, Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Spirit Squad, Girls Volleyball, Boys Volleyball, and Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee.
How does the school foster a sense of community among students? All grades hold a morning meeting in homeroom to settle in as a group. Bulldog Families is a unique program that groups one student from each grade from PS-8th together for regular bonding activities that create cross-grade relationships.
How can parents get involved in the school community? We have a robust Parents’ Association as well as a strong network of class parents that support our many community-wide events.
