A new early learning center is coming to Windsor and will open its doors in February 2024 to serve 179 children, bringing 27 jobs to the community. The early access Academy tours start July 2023, and parents and caregivers can jump online to reserve a spot.
The early learning facility is part of the education franchise Kiddie Academy, which has been a leading brand in child care. The company provides a quality educational experience for children six weeks old to 12 years.
“We are so thrilled that we will soon provide our unique services to children in and around Windsor and all of Northern Colorado,” says Nanette Cohen, one of the owners of Kiddie Academy of Windsor. “In the near future, we look forward to assisting local children in developing the confidence and self-esteem they need to be the best adult self they can be.”
At the new educational child care center, children will be taught Kiddie Academy’s proprietary Life Essential curriculum, which focuses on preparing children for life by letting them socially, emotionally, and intellectually grow.
“We have been on a quest for over three years to identify the best curriculum, leadership, location, and process that will provide our Kiddie Academy children with an ideal environment to learn and grow, leading to the best outcomes for our families,” Cohen says.
The new facility will have 11 classrooms, a large space for special events and inclement weather, and an AHA-certified on-call nurse.
“The time is right for Kiddie Academy to expand into Northern Colorado as there is a great need for quality child care, especially in Windsor,” says Joshua Frick, the President of Kiddie Academy.
