It’s the holiday season, which means it’s time to start thinking about giving back. Donating to toy drives and charitable happenings is a great way to give back as a family and teach valuable lessons to your children before Santa comes. After all, we all like being on the nice list.
Kenzi’s Causes
Consider donating new, unwrapped toys for kids ranging in ages birth to 18 at one of the many drop off locations in Colorado. Kenzi’s Causes believes every child deserves a brand new toy during the holidays, which is why they give only brand new toys during the Toy Drive.
Drop off locations can be found here, and are accepted through Nov. 30 each year. If you would like to donate items outside of these dates, you may drop them off at the Kenzi’s Causes Office in Aurora at 2230 South Fraser Street, Unit 3.
Together for Colorado Toy Drive
Each year, Boys & Girls Clubs partners with CBS Colorado, King Soopers, and 97.3 KBCO to collect new and unwrapped toys during their annual Together for Colorado Toy Drive. The drive ensures that every child and teen they serve is able to open a gift during the holiday season.
The Together for Colorado Toy Drive runs from Nov. 17-Dec. 24. Look for toy bins in front of more than 100 participating King Soopers storefronts, and find more information here.
Share-A-Gift
This Toy Shop relies on donations of new and gently-used toys, books, games, puzzles, and bikes from families throughout the area helping children of low-income families in the area of Colorado’s Boulder Valley School District.
The Toy & Bike Drive is Saturday Dec. 6 from 10am-1pm at 5450 Western Ave in Boulder. The Annual Toy Shop will be Saturday, Dec. 20 You can find more information here.

Toys for Tots is accepting toys and donations in the Greater Denver area to help out the local community. You can find the toy drop location nearest to you here.
Other Options
Other options to donate toys and gifts include the Salvation Army, thrift stores, Donation Town, Denver Dream Center, and Christmas Unlimited.
