The roar of vintage engines is returning to the Colorado plains alongside a mission that matters. On September 27–28, the 15th Annual Race Against Kids’ Cancer will bring together drivers, fans, and families at High Plains Raceway in Deer Trail, CO, for a weekend of thrilling motorsports with a heartfelt purpose: to raise vital funds for The Morgan Adams Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to pediatric cancer research.
What began as a grassroots gathering of racing enthusiasts 15 years ago has grown into one of the region’s premier motorsport charity events. The race not only offers an adrenaline-pumping weekend for fans of historic cars, but also serves as a powerful platform for philanthropy and community impact.
“Race Against Kids’ Cancer is where passion meets philanthropy,” said Joan Slaughter, Founder and Executive Director of The Morgan Adams Foundation. “Every lap, every driver and every fan plays a role in fueling hope for kids and families facing cancer.”
A Trackside Tradition With Impact
Each year, the Race Against Kids’ Cancer raises hundreds of thousands of dollars to support innovative pediatric cancer research at leading institutions. These efforts help bring groundbreaking treatments from the laboratory to the bedside, offering children with cancer better outcomes and brighter futures.
