Chicken N Pickle, an indoor/outdoor pickleball entertainment complex, is coming to Colorado for the first time! Set to open on June 24 in Thornton in The Grove shopping center, the complex is ideally situated near I-25 and 144th Avenue. June 24 marks the start of a week-long celebration to commemorate the opening of their Thornton location—see the schedule below for all the festivities going on!
Chicken N Pickle began in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2026 and has since grown into a national chain. The complex is a one-stop shop for food, fun, and community. Their Thornton location is over 45,000 square feet and features eight professional-grade pickleball courts. After spending some time on the courts, you can grab a refreshing drink at their sports bar before heading over to enjoy their game yard—life-size Battleship, anybody? Additionally, they have reservable spaces on their main dining floor, as well as two beer gardens that offer courtside and mountain views.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Chicken N Pickle without the delicious menu offerings. Their fast-casual, chef-driven restaurant specializes in wood-fired rotisserie chicken and focuses on fresh, quality ingredients that are responsibly raised and ethically sourced. Their mouth-watering menu includes Chicken N Waffles with bacon-infused waffle and bourbon maple syrup, crispy fried pickles, and a Chicken + 2 Rib Combo. The Thornton location will also introduce a breakfast menu, a unique feature not available at all Chicken N Pickle locations.

– Two of the eight pickleball courts are available for free open play all day.
– The first 100 guests at 5:30 p.m. (line starts at 5 p.m.) will receive a complimentary handheld with a side.
Wednesday, June 25 – Doggie Day
– Pups are welcome in all outdoor areas.
– Enjoy pup cups and dog photo-ops.
Thursday, June 26 – Kid-Centric Day
– BINGO with kids’ toy prizes starting at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, June 27 – Teacher Appreciation
– $10 gift card for the first 150 teachers with their ID starting at 4 p.m.
Saturday, June 28 – Adaptive Pickleball
– Free to attend from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
– All abilities and skill levels welcome.
– CNP Sports Wheelchairs will be available on-site.
Sunday, June 29 – Vendor Fair
– Local makers and businesses will be featured in a vibrant community market, alongside Chicken N Pickle’s popular brunch offerings, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
