Calling all Colorado Disney fans! The Disney on Ice: Magic in the Stars show is in Denver this weekend. Follow Mickey and his friends as they dive into the deeper meaning of Wishes and the magic they hold.
This stunning show features 12 storylines and over 50 beloved Disney characters, including appearances from Raya & The Last Dragon, Frozen II, Wish, Cars, Toy Story, and more. This show brings together old and new Disney characters in a magically mesmerizing story that everyone will love.
Cast member Madelyn Talamantes is going on her second year with Disney on Ice and can’t wait for Denver audiences to see this show. Talamantes plays Encanto’s Isabella in the show and says the role has given her “A chance to meet people from around the world and connect with others through skating.”
Her favorite part of the show is at the end when she and her castmates pause for a moment and see kids from the audience running up to the edge of the rink to wave at the characters excitedly. “In some places, this show is the closest thing they [the kids] get to visiting Disney World or Disney Land, so it feels really special to bring that experience to them,” says Talamantes.
Having been a skater since age three, Talamantes’ chance to professionally skate in a Disney show is a “dream come true,” making the message of Magic in the Stars that much more special to her. “The heart of the show is that everybody is a star no matter what you do. As long as you keep working hard, you can make your dreams come true.”
