Walmart and The Salvation Army are partnering for their 1st Annual Coat Drive on Thursday, October 24th in Denver. Community members were encouraged throughout the month of October to donate new or gently used coats to their local Walmart in “The Salvation Army Barrel.” This coat drive is part of Walmart and The Salvation Army’s goal to spread warmth and wellness this season.
Donations have been collected and organized for local families in need to choose from at tomorrow’s event. The coat drive will take place at Walmart Store 3533 on 7800 Smith Rd, Denver, from noon to 3 p.m., and will offer entertainment and festivities for community members.
