Founded in 2015, KIPP Northeast Elementary (KNE) serves 477 students from Early Childhood Education (ECE-4) to 4th grade in Far Northeast Denver. We believe that an excellent and equitable education will prepare our students with the passion, skills, and desire to be the future leaders of their communities.

KIPP Northeast Elementary teaches academic skills, cultivates character growth, and empowers students on their journey to and through college. Our students will leave KIPP Northeast Elementary with the passion, skills, and desire to change the world and be leaders in the Far Northeast Denver community.

We believe that an emphasis on restorative practices is an approach that honors the autonomy, intelligence, and diverse experiences of our students. An investment in social and emotional learning drives greater equity in the student experience.

We are part of the KIPP National Network – the largest national charter school network in the United States. KIPP Northeast Elementary is also proud to be a part of KIPP Colorado’s educational pathway from ECE-4 to 12th grade. We are one of Colorado’s only intentionally designed schools to offer an ECE to 12th-grade and beyond pathway with direct post-secondary support with our KIPP Forward program.
