A new Kiddie Academy in Northwest Arvada is expected to open its doors in the summer of 2024. The early childhood center is pre-enrolling and serves children six weeks to six years old.
“I have seen first-hand how beneficial a high-quality early learning environment can be for child development. My three-year-old daughter has been attending since she was four months old, and every day, I am amazed at how well she speaks, how empathetic she is, and how much she understands,” says Avani Halusan, the Owner of the School. “I am really excited to bring this programming to the Arvada community.”
The Kiddie Academy curriculum, Life Essentials, focuses on developing character, confidence, curiosity, connection, critical thinking, and creative expression. This type of curriculum centers around developing the whole child through play-based learning.
“We want Kiddie Academy of Arvada to have a positive impact throughout the entire Arvada community, reaching well beyond the classroom,” Halusan says.
The Educational Childcare Center has a capacity of 172 children, and there will be 27 new jobs created. Some unique features of this location include an indoor play program for inclement weather and steam and air ovens for healthy meals.
“Throughout my career, I befriended many colleagues who shared their challenges managing different childcare situations as they balanced parenthood and continued career growth,” Halusan says. “This inspired me to partner with Kiddie Academy to provide a strong childcare option that families can trust.”
