The 25th annual Denver Christkindlmarket has kicked off and is going strong. With its new location on the Tivoli Quad at the Auraria Campus due to construction at Civic Center Park, the market is still bright and booming.
“We’re thrilled to welcome visitors to the Market’s new home,” says Samantha Seems, Executive Director of the German American Chamber of Commerce – CO Chapter. “The site’s rich German heritage, rooted in the historic Tivoli Brewery, makes it a perfect fit for our holiday celebration of tradition and community.”
Free and open until Dec. 23, the market features more space for guests to explore, proximity to downtown, plenty of parking, and access to public transit. Plus, the beloved Mile High Tree is back and shining bright.
New Additions
To mark the milestone year, the Market unveiled exciting new features for visitors of all ages. This includes the Western Carousel – a beautifully restored 42-foot Herschell Carousel featuring hand-carved horses and vintage charm – a glass ornament workshop where visitors can experience the tradition of German glassmaking with master artists, an exclusive Denver Christkindlmarket commemorative mug and stein, and local collaborations.
