4. Venture into the world of Dr. Seuss with a board book adaptation of Happy Birthday to You! by Dr. Seuss (Random House Books for Young Readers, 2017). This version is easy to read, featuring shortened text and more than 60 flaps. Another great option for young readers is Dr. Seuss’s 100 First Words by Dr. Seuss Enterprises, L.P. (Random House Books for Young Readers, currently available for preorder, May 2018). The board book introduces babies and toddlers to Dr. Seuss through illustrations from his most beloved books. $9-$12.
